- Robert Blake: who succeded his father and inherited lands at Calne and Quemberford; by marriage he acquired estates in the county of Southampton; his memory is perpetuated in the church at Calne, where, in windows of stained glass, he is represented as habited in armor, with a surcoat charged with his armorial bearings; married Alice Wallop, daughter and heir of John Wallop, Esquire, of Nether Wallop, county of Southampton; she died October 29, 1474, and was buried in the church at Calne, where she is pictured with her husband, waring a scarf embroidered with the arms of her family.
