C'est avec grande tristesse que la famille annonce son décès au Manoire Doré de Timmins, le mardi 30 novembre, 2010 à l'âge de 81 ans. Époux-bien aimé de Françoise Lamontagne (née Labbé). Chère père de feue Gaétane Fecteau (2005) (Jean-Yves & Bev) de Timmins, Félicien Boudreault (Cécile) de Kirkland Lake, Larry Boudreault (Denise) of Timmins, Jerry Boudreault (Pat) de Chaput Hughes, Bernard Boudreault de Larder Lake, Lise Lefebvre (Patrick) de Verner, Mariette Maillé (Gilbert) de Timmins, Jean-Guy Lamontagne (Claudette) de Timmins, Eddy Lamontagne (Doris) et Marc Lamontagne (Corinne) de Timmins. Il sera terriblement manqué par 30 petits-enfants, 31 arrières petits-enfants et 5 arrières arrières petits-enfants. Il laisse aussi dans le deuil plusieurs nièces et neveux. Prédécédé par ses parents Joseph et Clarisse Lamontagne, son frère Émile et ses soeurs Marie-Rose Fecteau, Marie-Anne Boudreault et Laurette Poudrier ainsi que sa petite-fille Denise Drouin. La famille aimerait remercier les infirmières, le personnel et les médecins du 1er et 2e étage du pavillon Ouest au Manoir Doré, ainsi que les médecins et infirmières du 3e à l'Hpital de Timmins et du District pour leurs excellents soins au cours des derniers trois ans. Le service des funérailles aura lieu le Jeudi, 2 décembre, 2010 à 10h00 en la chapel du Salon Funéraire Miron-Wilson (Père Simon Drapeau officiant.) Les dons commémoratifs à la Société de l' Alzheimer seront grandement appréciés. La famille accueillera parents et amis le mercredi de 14h00 à 16h00 et 19h00 à 21h00 au SALON FUNÉRAIRE MIRON-WILSON, 150 sud, rue Balsam, Timmins, Ontario.

Beloved husband of 43 years to Mariette Maillé (née Lamontagne). Loving father of Chantal (Bert) Merenda of Timmins and Guy Maillé of Valleyfield, Québec. Dear grandfather of Isabella and step-grandfather of Frank and Katica (John). Brother of Rachel Thibeault, late Pierrette (late Fernand) Gervais, Juliette (Manuel) DeBastos and Claudette (Jean-Guy) Lamontagne. Also left to mourn are his brothers-in-law and sisters-law; late Gaétane (Jean-Yves/Bev) Fecteau, Félicien (Cécile) Boudreault, late Larry (Denise) Boudreault, Jerry (Pat) Boudreault, Bernard Boudreault, Lise (Patrick) Lefebvre, Jean-Guy (Claudette) Lamontagne, Eddy (Doris) Lamontagne and Marc (Corinne) Lamontagne. He will also be sadly missed by his numerous, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Irène & Willie Maillé and his in-laws Jean-Louis & Françoise Lamontagne. We want to thank all the wonderful people who made our choice to keep him at home until the end of his life possible. From the bottom of our heart we say thank you to Dr. Patrick Critchley, Dr. Rachel Maisonneuve, CCAC staff; Community Care Partners staff (Priscilla), Bayshore (Evelyn), Pharmacists at Shoppers, Vital Air (Natalie), Day Program at the Golden Manor (Josée & Julie), to many co-workers who have been there for him until the end (especially to Glen and Steve) and so many others. Thank you for your understanding, support, kindness and excellent care. Gil would certainly sing to all of you one last time Bye Bye Love... . Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2015 from the St-Joseph Church (Fr. Simon Drapeau officiating) and a brunch will be served in Gil's honour after the service. Remembrance donations to the St-Joseph Parish, ALS Society or the Ontario Alzheimer's Society would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Friday at the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins
