According to the 1900 census, the widow Lena Fecteau, age 37, was renting her home at 81 Water Street in Lawrence. Five of her seven children were still living and listed: Yvonne 11, Rosario 8, Lorenzo 6, Joseph 2 and Magloire 1 (son - sic!). Magloire shows up as a daughter Marie on the 1910 census! Also living with her were 3 cousins: Eustance 32, Olive 33, and Therese 35.
According to the 1910 census, the widowed Leda Fecteau, age 46, was renting her home at 58 Concord Street in Lawrence. Three of her five children were still living «it would appear that the census was in error, and 3 children are living WITH HER!) and listed as: Evon (son - sic) 21, Joseph 12, and Mary 11. Also listed: brother-in-law Eustache Fecteau, age 42, and sister-in-law Olive, age 43 - both single so probably not married to each other.
According to the 1920 census, the widow Leda, age 56, was renting a home at 38 Summit Street in Lawrence. She and her four children (Yvonne 31, Wilfred 27, Edward 22, and Marie 20) were also living with Victoria Fecteau, a daughter-in-law (who would appear to be married to her son Lorenzo), and Olive Fecteau, 53, a sister-in-law -- see information in 1910 census description.
According to the 1930 census, the widow Leda, age 66, was renting ($28) a home at 38 Tremont Street in Lawrence. She was first married at age 24. Living with her was her son Edward J 32 and a widowed daughter Yvonne Commeau 42.
According to the 1940 census, the widowed Leda Fecteau, age 77, was renting at 38 Tremont Street in Lawrence, Essex, Massachusetts.
Also listed were: Yvonne Comeau, widowed daughter age 54 and son Edward Frecteau,a ge 42. Also listed was a cousin Wilfred Turcotte, age 34.
In 1935, Leda and Edward were living in the same house; the others were living in the same place.
